Description:

The Old Curran Ranch Hunt Club near Hagerman, Idaho is now offering one equity membership and one cabin (optional at $30k) for sale.

Total membership interests will be capped at 17 (13 current members; both in-state and out-of-state).  Each member automatically becomes a member of Old Curran Ranch, LLC, owning a pro-rata share of the real estate and associated holdings (1882 water rights, etc.).

Founded in 2002, the club has rapidly transformed into one of the finest waterfowl and upland game hunting properties in the state.

The club consists of over 400 acres of prime farming (currently in corn and alfalfa) and marsh/riparian ground.  The balance of the acreage is high/mixed weeds, willows and russian olive trees which also hold large, static numbers of pheasant, ducks/geese, quail, doves, mule deer and many non-game species.

The southern boudary is literally a stone's throw from the Hagerman Wildlife Management Area, which is a magnet for migrating ducks, geese and swans.  The Snake River corridor is two miles as the duck flies, a short and easy 3-4 minute commute for waterfowl.

On each hunting day, members select from no fewer than 20 classic hunting venues, including flooded cornfield ponds, dry cornfields, tule/cattail lined ponds, alfalfa fields and shallow spring creek diversions.

Serving as the centerpiece of the club is the historic clubouse and cabin complex.  The Bald Mountain Lodge and cabins once stood for decades on Ketchum, Idaho's Main Street.  This iconic series of log structures served countless Ketchum residents and visitors as an important gathering spot for nearly 100 years.

Fully renovated and transported to the club in 2004,  the buildings now serve the proud club members as a reminder of a bygone era, as well as a warm and luxurious landing spot after a successful hunt.

The main lodge is over 3,000 square feet and features a huge rock fireplace, expansive decks overlooking ponds and streams, a commercial kitchen and walk-in cooler, a custom built-in bar, pool/poker tables, overstuffed leather furniture and, of course, plenty of native taxidermy.

And unlike other, similar sporting clubs, the Old Curran Ranch has become widely known as a family-friendly environment.  Most members take great pride in sharing the dream they have built with theirs sons, daughters, business associates, spouses and friends.

Here, the only thing that can compare with a limit of fat northern mallards is the post-hunt clubhouse scene:  tired Labradors dream and thaw in front of a roaring fire, toasts and good-natured ribbing in the bar, football on the widescreen and a gourmet, family-style meal around the giant dining table.  These are the little things that serve to tie the total Old Curran Ranch experience together.
